The Spa at the Carnegie Abbey Club

The Club's European-style Elemis Spa rejuvenates members with a variety of treatments.

 

The European Spa at Carnegie Abbey offers a wide range of treatments for both men and women, blending the riches of natural active therapeutic plant extracts and essential oils with a variety of advanced scientific massage techniques. The Carnegie Abbey spa is proud to use the finest Elemis products for all treatments offered.

The Spa's body and facial treatments are designed to complement your lifestyle, either at work, as part of a fitness program or during times of relaxation. Members can now indulge in a Japanese Facial, Lime and Ginger Salt Glow, Strawberry Herbal Back Cleanse, an Aromasap Ocean Wrap, or one of many other delights. The Spa also provides excellent fitness and cardio studios, all overlooking Narragansett Bay; and members may enjoy a steam or sauna after a workout or treatment.

Fitness is another way members relax at Carnegie Abbey. With a full service fitness room, and professional instruction, our members enjoy invigorating workouts and group classes. During the summer months, the pool is opened, allowing members to relax with a swim or simply soak up the sun by Narragansett Bay.

Our Spa Therapists are glad to help you choose a treatment that is right for you. We encourage you to call ahead and request a consultation so that we might customize a program for your personal goals.

Please notify the Spa at the time of booking of any concerns or if you have any of the following conditions: high/low blood pressure, allergies, physical disabilities, ailments or you are pregnant.

We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment. Arriving late will limit the time of your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure.

Please dress comfortably (denim is not permitted at any time in the Clubhouse or Spa). A robe and slippers will be provided for you upon arriving and you may enjoy the full amenities in our Locker Rooms to freshen up after your Spa Experience.

The use of cellular phones is prohibited in the Club House and Spa. Phones must be switched off prior to entering. We request that all Members and guests extend a courteous 24-hour cancellation notice to cancel any appointment. If a cancellation notice is not given, the full price of the treatment will be applied to the Member's account. If the appointment is re-scheduled there will be no charge.

Guests of Members will be charged a $15 access fee per day.
